Para”metric” Daylight Analysis

Team Members: Shantanu (Architect), Jayati C. (High-performance building consultant)

About the Project: Parametric forms are often seen as visually striking but rarely aligned with sustainability. This abstract form exercise aimed to bridge that gap—exploring how design performance can inform expressive geometry. The focus was on running daylight analysis, point-in-time illuminance studies, glare evaluation, and view analysis to shape a form that balances aesthetics with environmental responsiveness.

Software Used: Rhino and grasshopper (Ladybug, Honeybee) for daylight and views analysis
